FOLLOW THE MONEY CAMEROON
Follow The Money is a panafrican led initiative that was founded in 2012 by Connected Development of Nigeria. It seeks to advocate, visualise and track government spending and international aid, and let you know how effective it has been in our rural communities. FollowTheMoney (FTM) has been able to ensure sustainability by empowering citizens to take ownership of the process by being fully involved in the process of holding their governments accountable at all levels. Since 2021, Follow The Money partnered with ADE to become an extension of the Covid-19 Transparency and Accountability project (CTAP) in Cameroon and nine African Countries namely Kenya, Gambia,, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Liberia, Malawi, South Sudan, Cape Verde and Ethiopia.
The Covid-19 Transparency and Accountability project (CTAP) has been implemented in Cameroon for the past three years in three phases.
