I am presently a volunteer with ADE Cameroon for close to a year today. Although I wouldn't be able to get into details, the experience so far is nothing less than a blessing. Working for a noble cause makes me always makes me proud and believe me ADE is a place to be. It will be ungrateful for me not to mention the fabulous people I shared the experience who inspired me to push my limits. I strongly trust that ADE is contributing to the better man I am becoming.

My experience at ADE was full of learning opportunities and interesting insight. I got myself engaged in wonderful activities with young leaders full of positive energy. I personally witness how people could devote their time and efforts for the wellbeing of others, for people they don’t even know, for their community. I saw many people with faces full of gratitude and smile for our work and this remember me how important it was to serve his community.      This was wonderful, something I could not imagine before starting volunteering in this organization. These activities has helped me improve on my leadership skills, critical thinking skills and most importantly time management. Thanks ADE……

Working with ADE is an incredible experience; it helped me to know more on self-development and equally to develop awareness on what is going on in my community. I made a number of people of different cultural backgrounds with different point of views working together for a common goal. This helped with to understand problems from different perspectives and to learn how to work with other people in other to come out with a productive result. I learned how to follow my dream and my path and equally that everything is possible as long as you have the will to do it.

Action for Development &Empowerment (ADE) is the first organization I actually engage into as a volunteer who offers he services to the community. Being part of it really broaden my mind on the importance of giving back to the community and that is why I embrace the Vision of this association. For the few months I have been volunteering, I had the opportunity to follow the movement “NO TO RAPE” where I increased my communication skills by frequently talking to the younger ones. Not just that, as a member, I adopted the habit of punctuality, sociability, collaboration and innovation.
