Project Summary

In view of the fact that Youth and Women constitute about  65% of the Cameroonian population but unfortunately have experienced low participation and representation in electoral processes, ADE introduced the project “My Vote, My Voice.” Through funding from the National Endowerment for Democracy, NED ,ADE successfully trained 100 youth leaders, women, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) in the Center and Adamawa regions on democratic and electoral processes in Cameroon through the #MyVoteMyVoice initiative. Additionally, we conducted comprehensive sensitization campaigns to encourage voter registration, utilizing a variety of effective strategies to maximize outreach and impact.
