My Vote My Voice

Training youth, women, and persons with disabilities on democratic and electoral processes, and driving voter registration across Cameroon's Center and Adamawa regions.

Project Summary

In view of the fact that youth and women constitute about 65% of the Cameroonian population but have unfortunately experienced low participation and representation in electoral processes, ADE introduced the project My Vote, My Voice.

Through funding from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), ADE successfully trained 100 youth leaders, women, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) in the Center and Adamawa regions on democratic and electoral processes in Cameroon through the #MyVoteMyVoice initiative.

Additionally, the project conducted comprehensive sensitization campaigns to encourage voter registration, utilizing a variety of effective strategies to maximize outreach and impact.
