Cameroon faces numerous health challenges, which affect the quality of life and the development of the country. These challenges include communicable diseases, epidemics and vaccine inequity. These problems are linked to weak health systems, lack of financial resources and poor governance of the sector. To deal with this, the “Health Security Finance Accountability” (HSFA) project, supported by the organizations Actions for Development and Empowerment (ADE), Positive Generation (PG) and Africa Health Budget Network (AHBN), proposes to strengthen financial accountability in terms of health security, by further mobilizing national resources and promoting equitable access to vaccines.
